De-escalation Training for Protectors of Democracy

With No Kings 3 approaching SWIM (StateWide Indivisible Michigan) have had many requests for de-escalation training. To meet that need, they are repeating this training "De-escalation Training for Protectors of Democracy".

As events get bigger and more popular the issue of safety for those participating continues to be a concern. This interactive training is designed to equip participants with the essential skills needed to engage in dialogue and manage conflict during potential tense and emotional circumstances. This training will focus on empathy, reflective listening, self-regulation, safety measures, and role play scenarios.

Presenters will be: Jill Murphy (Michigan Families for Fair Care); Erik Shelley (Michigan United Action); Stephanie Crider (UNDIVIDED); Christopher Ford (UNDIVIDED)
