The recent elections in New Jersey and Virginia were an overwhelming success, to which we contributed by writing and distributing over 10,000 postcards! We are now working to help win the midterm elections by writing postcards to Michigan!
Writing postcards is easy, it’s effective, and it’s a good way to calm your anxiety about all the chaos and corruption in politics. It’s also a meaningful and pleasant thing to do while sitting around a table with neighbors and friends. We will continue to write postcards together at Blue Star Barns Coffee every 2nd and 4th Wednesday from noon to 2:00 pm. And we are excited to announce that we are adding a monthly evening postcard event!
Our first evening will be in celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King’s birthday, on January 15th at the Saugatuck-Douglas Library from 5 till 7:30.
Our second evening will take place on February 4th at Alley’s Pizza at Lakeview Lanes—see our events page for details.
