Join the ‘No Kings’ Event in Douglas

Saugatuck Douglas Area Indivisibles is hosting a “No Kings” event on Saturday, October 17, 12 – 2 p.m., in the open field at the intersection of the Blue Star Highway and North Union Street in Douglas.

The goal of this nationwide “No Kings: Voting Early Is How We Use Our Power” event is to create community awareness about the importance of voting in this election and voting early. Messaging on event banners and signs will include such statements as “Protect Your Vote,” “Vote Early” and “Vote in Person.”

We need a record voter turnout in this election to flip the House and the Senate. Please join us on Blue Star next month.

This is the fourth official No Kings protest event organized by people-powered movements including Indivisible National. Learn more at: NoKings.org.
