No Kings Protest II

  • Hope Church 77 West 11th Street Holland, MI, 49423 United States (map)

This protest is co-hosted by the Saugatuck Douglas Area Indivisibles and the Holland Zeeland Indivisible groups.

In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings.

Our peaceful movement is only getting bigger and stronger. “NO KINGS” is more than just a slogan—it’s the foundation our nation was built upon. Born in the streets, carried by millions in chants and on posters, it echoes from city blocks to rural town squares, uniting people across this country to fight dictatorship together.

The president thinks his rule is absolute. But in America, we don’t have kings, and we won’t back down against chaos, corruption, and cruelty. Grow our movement and join us.

It will be good to be together on Saturday in Holland, speaking out--peacefully and joyfully--for democracy and the future we want for all of us! A few important notes and reminders:

The rally begins at 1:00 p.m. with special guest speakers at Hope Church, 77 West 11th, across River Avenue and a parking lot, due to the weather forecast and other logistics. After the opening calls to action, we'll march down 10th Street, cross at and with the light, and join the rally in Centennial Park. We're on, rain or shine, so wear your slicker and bring your umbrella and good humor!

National Indivisible encourages people to wear yellow as a sign of unity, and to take a lesson from Portland demonstrators, who’ve used humor (and inflatable frog costumes) to make clear that these are not threatening events.

Please cross at and with lights and respect both vehicle and pedestrian traffic.

All No Kings events reflect commitment to nonviolent action. All of us will act lawfully and seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with anyone who disagrees with our values.

You can still RSVP here to help us project numbers.

Looking forward to seeing you and standing together!
