Practice for the Douglas Halloween Parade

  • Hope Church 77 West 11th Street Holland, MI, 49423 United States (map)

Join us to coordinate and rehearse our performance for the Douglas Halloween Parade for Adults. Each year the parade draws around 20,000 people to downtown Douglas, Michigan for this extraordinary event. Many photos and videos are shared to social media that go all the way around the world, so let’s give them something to SEE!

Bring your large protest signs if you have them. We want to focus on aspirational messaging about the democracy we all want and deserve! Please avoid any negative messaging. Our goal is to reach as many people as we can via social media and ideally mainstream media.

The float will have the Statue of Liberty along with other characters in front and protestors will perform a coordinated “walk” down the route. We’re stopping just shy of a dance, but it will be fun!
