Come & Celebrate this Moment

Whew. The last two years have been one heck of a journey. That’s why we’re planning a social gathering this month instead of our regular meeting.

Join us for a Blue Spangled Social on Tuesday, November 17, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Saugatuck Brewing Company.

We’ll have an open mic for guests who want to share a song, a poem, or an inspiring (or rebellious) message. Light snacks will be provided, and there will be a cash bar.

When Saugatuck Douglas Area Indivisibles began in March 2025, we had no idea how much work was to come. Fortunately, our community answered the call and your involvement has been heartening.

We are grateful to everyone who has dedicated time, energy, talents, and resources to support this volunteer-driven organization. Whether you marched at protests, wrote postcards, donated, made calls to legislators, canvassed, or helped organize get-out-the-vote events, this midterm election proves your work mattered.

Let’s take a breath and make the time to recognize and celebrate our work to protect democracy over these past many months. There’s still much to be done, but this is a moment we should savor.

Please register in advance so we know you’re coming!
